 May started off with Liam's 7th grade Spring Band concert at Westwood Middle school. 

The theme was Disney so he wore his Mickey ears. 

Nana & Papa's pool is finally ready to swim in!!!

Happy kiddos that summer is upon them and they have a place to hang out together all summer!

Reid & Kane turned 10 on May 16th and Reid wanted a snake for his birthday.  Ryan had a snake when we first got together so we were familiar with the care of a snake. 

We went and picked him up along with his enclosure at an exotic pet store in Murfreesboro. 

We say He but we truly are sure if it's male or female. 

He is a ball python and we named him Loki

Their birthday was on  CSES Lemonade day.  I took off work that day and took them to get birthday donuts.  

Everyone sang happy birthday to them.  He even got a gift from a friend :)

April 2024

 April started off interesting with what I thought was a possible blood clot.  I woke up one morning with my right calf double in size.  I called Vanessa and she sent me to get an ultrasound of my calf which came back negative for a DVT

It also had this bruise.  After a couple days everything was back to normal with no real reason as to what happened. 

Ryan is working security in Nashville and every couple weeks I would take off on his day off and we would have a day date.  Because of his hours, we don't really get to spend much time together so when we do we like to make the best of it.   Most of the time it involves motorcycles and food :)

On this day date we took a trip to Nashville to check out Pushing Daisies which is an underground Margarita bar downtown that I have been wanting to check out.

John and Joann put a pool in this year and they had started to fill it up.  John was walking around in the pool to check it out and slipped and fell, hitting his head on the step.  Ambulance was called to send him to the ER to get checked out. 

All better and discharged home with no serious injuries thank goodness!
