Jesus Tent @ Bonnaroo

Not only was it VBS week but it was also Bonnaroo weekend.  Saturday and Sunday morning was spent manning the drink station under the Jesus Tent.

Iced coffee was everyones favorite.  Katie and I became pros at iced coffee making.

The phone charging stations were also a big hit under the tent.

Saturday night the Doraks' invited me to go watch Old Crow Medicine Show with them.

I got to get my favorite thing about Bonnaroo, The Happy Waitress Spicy Pie Pizza!!!!

Old Crow was given the key to the city this year.  They have played Bonnaroo since the very first year it was started!  Thats amazing!

Sunday we had some storms come through and we brought the balloon down out of the sky

Lightening hit the tent and cut off the power for a little bit.  It was a loud pop and lots of screams.  We had a couple anxiety attacks to take care of after that!

It's these moments that show you what the Jesus Tent is all about.  It's these moments that change lives forever.   So blessed to be a part of this outreach!

Game On VBS 2018

This year our VBS theme was a Game On sports theme.  I helped teach the kindergarten class with Donna Ennis, Suzanne Hines and Chrissy Meacham.  When it came to decorations I was in my element!  I love things like this and I have to say I think our room was the best!

Ryan was in charge of 5th and 6th grade Rec.  On the last day he had a surprise for his kids - Hundreds of water balloons.  He spent all afternoon the night before with a friend getting them ready. He had a blast!

So I got her back...

All week long Avery wouldn't sing and the kids tried their best to get her to sing.  On Friday, the last day, she finally spoke and they kids were so excited!  Here they are giving her a big hug. 

This was my first year getting to teach a class and I loved it!  Hopefully I can get this week off again next year and be able to do it again!!!

I can't believe my babies are 4!  It seems like just yesterday we were bringing them home from the hospital!

Birthday party was May 26th and the Rec Center.  We did a joint party with my nephew Hudson because their birthdays are only 2 weeks apart.  Birthday theme was Pool Party

When they finished opening presents we all headed out to the pool to swim!
