This fall Liam decided he wanted to plan Upwards Basketball. Here he is at tryouts.
I'm sure he plays basketball at school but as far and I'm concerned I have never seen him dribble a basketball, so I knew this would be interesting! I was asked to help coach. Hollyn, Adam and I were the coaches of The Golden Eagles.

It was 3 on 3 and each kid had a different color wristband to determine which player to guard.
Snacks after every game!
Liam isn't very aggressive so when he would get the ball he would find someone else to try to pass it to. There were a few times he had possession and was close enough that he thought he would make it. He probably made 4-5 baskets all season! Its a start!
Most importantly he had fun and made new friends and continued to build friendships with the old!
These two are like 2 peas in a pod! Just like their moms were!
