Rosie Comes to Visit

Rosie came to Tennessee the week of June 13th.   Tuesday the 14th we took a trip to Winchester to Pat and Linda's to hang out, play in the creek and catch lightening bugs.  Rosie has never caught a lightening bug before!!!!  It became our mission to make ithappen!

"Hey guys don't get in the creek!!!"  >the four of them contemplating who is going to get in the creek first<

Catching lightening bugs...

On Thursday, Aunt Leslie, mom, Linda and John Hardy took Hardy Lee, Rosie, Reid & Kane to the lake.

I had to work and I hated that I missed out on all of the fun.  But seeing this picture made my heart happy.  I remember spending lake time with my cousins in the summer.  Thankful my kids will have the same happy memories I had!

Saturday was another lake day and everyone got to join the fun!

Just looks at these happy sunscreen'd faces!!!

Lake snacks! Yum!!!

Just look at that winter skin!!! Ha!

Uncle Duane is always where the dogs are!

Barrett "MC Hammer" on the ski's

After the lake everyone came back to our house for dinner and s'mores!

Nothing better than a sleeping lake baby!

I enjoyed this time together so much!  There is nothing better then spending time with family.

CentriKid Camp 2022

June 13th Liam left for his 2nd year of CentriKid Camp.  It was at Lee University again this year.  He is now too old for going away pictures and hugs and kisses.  >Cue the tears!!!<

Everyone knows I love pictures so receiving pictures of my guy at camp made my heart happy!

4th Grade Crew!

In deep thought!

This years favorite thing in the camp store were these straw glasses.

3rd graders are in yellow, 4th in green and 5th in blue.

Being silly with the water hose!

The FBC crew having fun and learning about Jesus.

Liam has so much fun at camp!  Next year Reid and Kane will be able to go.  I'm not sure Lee University is ready for all the Barker Boys!!!

Nashville Sounds

Some friends of ours snagged some extra tickets to a Nashville Sounds game and of course we jumped on the opportunity to go.  We have never been to a Sounds game before.  So on June 11th, we met up with the Green's for dinner at Puckett's in Murfreesboro before the game.  We got to the stadium a little early so we hung out for a little bit in the parking garage and ran out some of their energy.

Our seats were in section 110 behind the Sounds.  Reid went down close to the dugout to watch the guys warmup and practice.

The Green's, Meacham's & Carmean's were on the other side of the field!

While Reid was watching the players by the dugout, one of the coaches handed him a ball.  He was so excited!

Country singer entertainment.  I mean what other kind of entertainment would you have in Nashville?!  So funny!

Nothing better than Dippin' Dots in a little helmet!

After some innings had passed, Vanessa called to tell us there was a ton of room for us to come over and sit with them.  Oh the excitement and dancing when these boys got together!  These boys are the life of the party!

Sound's win!!!!

These 3 have really hit it off since meeting and hanging out and we are super thankful for it!  Hoping these boys continue to build these friendships throughout their years.

Vols Football Camp

Talk about and excited kid!  Reid was pumped when we told him he was going to go to Tennessee Vols football camp this summer.

It was a one day camp where the kids were able to tour the football facilities and spend the day doing drills and meeting coaches and players.

Getting to hear Coach Heupel speak.

Lunch was provided and everyone got to get a picture with Coach Heupel.  Such a fun experience! Got to pass on that Volunteer Pride!
