New School Year

Liam started 6th grade at Westwood Middle School.  I had to be super discrete taking pictures because heaven forbid we embarrass him on the first day of school!

After I dropped of Liam, I took the twins to pick up their packet at College Street.

Within the first few weeks of school they had tryouts for the sports they wanted to play.  Kane made the cheerleading team!  Reid unfortunately didn't make the basketball team but was named Manager and was able to practice and be part of the team all year.

Jake Dorak was brave enough to take this bunch to a CCHS football game.  He took them out for dinner at Taco Bell first ...

Reid joined the Track team too!  He wasn't the fastest out there but he kept up with everyone!  I'm so proud of his efforts and hanging in there!

It's hard to believe that we are already starting a new school year!  These kiddo's are making me feel old!

Summer Wrap Up

It’s not cousin camp without Rosie!!!  Every summer Rosie comes up from Mississippi for a week and we get to do all the fun things with her.

April starts rec ball season. This year was the last season of 8U ball with Hwy 280

He was asked to fill in at a 10U game and even got to pitch!

We decided to go on a little business adventure and buy a camper to rent out.  It's kind of like an AirBnb but for campers!

Before we started renting out the camper to others, we decided to take it out for a weekend to get to understand the ins and outs of how it works so that we can better assist our renters.  We rented a spot out at Twin Creeks off Tim's Ford Lake. 

Learning to entertain themselves....  and drive us nuts. 

Trying out the new sun chill float that mom and dad got. It was supposed to be a float where the adults could sit in and chill, but it quickly became a playground for the kids.  It keeps them contained and us entertained I guess!

Another day of lake fun!

Kenny,  Nicole and Weston came in from Louisiana to visit. We celebrated Weston‘s first birthday grilling out and swimming, which is what we do best!

After a summer packed full of traveling to many different tropical places, it was time to fill the rest of our summer up with more fun activities.  We went and watched the Spongebob Squarepants play at the MAC. They had Spongebob ice cream to eat too!

For our 14th Anniversary we decided to stay in and make our own homemade pasta together.

That, for the most part, wraps up our summer festivities.  We still have some lake days to get in but it's time to start getting ready for all things fall!
