Liam's Destin Trip July 2013

The weekend of July 4 dad, Liam and I took a trip to Destin, FL with some cousins.  Mom didn't get to go because grandaddy was in the hospital.  We were all excited to go and spend some time in the sun but our week was cut short by rain.  EVERYDAY!!! There was roughly 2 hours that we were able to put on our bathing suits and get out in the hot tub/pool.  We spent most of our time hanging out in the condos talking and playing with the other kiddos.  Liam and I stayed with Kandy, Ben and the boys and dad slept on an air mattress in Pam and Genes condo.   They had a really good fireworks show on July 4th that we watched.  That was the second time had seen the fireworks there.  It was really windy but we all made the best of it!

One night we went and picked up some fresh seafood and ate in the condo.  We had crab legs, shrimp and the guys cooked fresh tuna steak! It was delicious!!!

We had cake and sang Happy Birthday for Connor's 10 birthday!

Even though it rained everyday and our trip was cut short, it was still nice to get away for a little while. It was good to hang out with family and maybe next year will be better :)
