Im so sad because I totally forgot to take pictures of our trip to see Dr. Eastham. It's not like I had my hands full or anything! I took the boys all by myself because Ryan used to be off on Mondays and then his schedule changed. And if you go to Tennessee Pediatrics and see Dr. Eastham you know how hard it is to get into see him sometimes. I was not cancelling that appointment. It was Liam's birthday and I should not have scheduled a doctor appointment on his birthday. You know why? Because when you are 4 years old and you go to a well check up on your birthday you get shots. Poor guy ended up getting 3 shots. But he is she shot ready for Kindergarten, which won't be for another 2 years. Only shot he will need next year is his Flu shot.
Liam had his check up first and he was able to do everything they told him to do. He showed them how to write his name even though he drew it upside down as though he was writing it so she could read it. I was impressed that his little mind thought that way but his name was backwards. He then wrote it the right way. Here are his stats from his check up:
Height: 39 inches (22%)
Next were the little boys. They had completely tore up the room by the time he came in. Dumped all the books in the floor and looking for something else to get into. Dr. Eastham just laughs at them. He tells me that they are well behaved for their age when it comes to their check ups. They let him do everything and didn't put up a fight. That makes me proud because I feel like they are the total opposite. It's nice to be reassured that they are good, well behaved kids .... sometimes. We have been in and out of his office a couple times in the last couple of months for runny noses and coughs that just won't go away. Two different antibiotics later and they were cough and snotty nose free for about 2 weeks and now its back with a vengeance. This time they are worse but there really isn't anything else to do besides what I am doing. They have to build up their immunity and I have to let it take its course. Other than that they checked out fine and are right on track for their age. Tall and skinny. He pulled some impressive ear wax out of Kane's ear with a tool I wish I would have dug out of the trash before we left. Kane also had some killer diaper rash from the diarrhea that this sickness had brought upon him. He gave us some Calmoseptine samples for that. They both got two shots a piece. Talk about anxiety ... 3 kids screaming from shots and only 2 arms to hold them all. Shew! Everyone finally calmed down and I carried Liam and pulled the twins in the wagon. I bring them in the wagon because my double stroller doesn't fit through their front door. I mean really its a Pediatricians office, it should accommodate a double stroller! Anyways, we all made it out alive and came home to eat some lunch. Here were their stats:
Reid
Height: 33.25 inches (74%)
Weight: 22.06 pounds (19%)
Kane
Height: 33.5 inches (80%)
Weight: 21.78 pounds (16%)
We took our pictures this time with Katie Dorak Photography! She did a great job capturing our family and the struggles we endure. I figured there weren't going to be any good pictures by how uncooperative the boys were but much to my surprise there were some really good ones! And some to remember for sure!
These next two pictures are our lives on a daily basis.
I can't believe this boy is 4! He is so smart and so well behaved!
Liam's birthday theme this year in Ninja Turtles so we had to have a little fun and get in costume.
