Lake Life: Part 1 - May Edition

So its only the beginning of Summer and we have pretty much spent all of our free time at the lake.  The boys talk about it all week long.  I titled this Part 1 because we already have so many fun memories that it would be too long for just one end of the summer post.
The first weekend the boys went out there with mom and dad while Ryan and I had something to do (I can't remember where the heck we were.) When I told the boys that morning that they were going to spend the weekend out on the lake with G & Grandy they were SOOOO excited.  Reid was so excited that he sat out on the front porch waiting for mom to pick him up.

And they are off!

Bella loves the lake life and gets to go every weekend

Each boy has their own personal bunk - unless Ryan and I stay the night then the are piled up on top of one of us or piled up with my parents.

Mom's camper neighbors have become like family and they have taken in my kids like they are their own.  The boys have also taken over one of their dogs, Gia.  Sometimes we don't know who is leading who.

One of their favorite things to do is ride the golf cart with anyone but they LOVE riding with Gene.  We get "Hey Baby Girl" as they pass by.

They also love the play ground there.  Here is their rendition of "the dab"

Hannah teaching Reid how to play giant Jenga

Relaxing in the camper with my feet up watching .... PJ Masks!

Finally, water time!

About 5 minutes down the road when we leave the lake we look back and see this!  They love it and we do too....

.....Because we get to stop and get ice cream and they don't even know it.

Hannah got a Lily Pad for her birthday.  She's trying to relax in the middle and my turds are jumping around on it.

I have so many memories of being on the lake with friends and family.  I'm so happy to see these guys together making memories of their own.

G got the boys hats and sunglasses for their birthday.

Aunt Leslie, Uncle Duane and Hardy Lee came out to hang with us.  Unfortunately, the moment they got their boat in the water the sky fell out and we quickly found some slips to hide under until the rain cleared.

While I was packing up the car one day I found this.  She knows when we are going to the lake and she doesn't want to miss out!

She even got a pup cup from Dairy Queen!

Directing Pam and Gene on the golf cart

Nana bought them this Gigaball for their birthday.  We decided to blow it up and see what it was all about.  The climbed in and rolled around in it until they were tired!

Too funny not to capture.  We had a graduation party for Dylan and it was too difficult to wheel the grill to the pavilion so they came up with this idea.  Redneck- but it worked!

Alright - that pretty much sums up our time at the lake in May.  Its just now getting started and I can't wait to see what fun we get into the rest of the summer!
