Panama City Beach 2018

One of our many vacations this year was to Panama City Beach with my parents.  We left Manchester and started on our way on June 16th.  Bella was able to travel with us this year since we found a place that allowed pets.  She did so well on the drive down there.

Nap time!

Boys first steps in the sand...

...and we got there just in time to catch the sunset.

I told them 100 times not to get in far enough to get their shorts wet ... they listen so well.

Me and my boys :)

After the boys got there initial beach excitement out of the way, we cleaned up and made our way to Runaway Island Grill for dinner.

This one couldn't hang.

These two were breaking it down!

June 17th started out with breakfast and the beach to work on some sandcastles.

It didn't take anytime and the boys has made some new friends.

We came in for showers to get ready to go eat and this happened.

Dinner was at Saltwater Grill

Then to Pier Park for ice cream at The Yard for the adults and Dippin' Dots for the littles.

Ryan's milkshake - with a piece of cheesecake on top.

Dad's banana split milkshake

My birthday cake milkshake complete with a cupcake on top

After we stuffed ourselves with ice cream the boys took a ride in come bumper boats and we did a little shopping.

How we felt after the milkshakes...

... trying to show our smiles through the pain.

June 18th brought beautiful weather and more time on the beach.  Grandy and the boys spent hours looking for shells.

Bella escaped from the condo and made her way to the beach to find us.

My cup says it all

The boys wanted a little break from the sand so we spent some time at the pool before we went in to get ready to go eat.

Passed out on the way to eat.

Dinner was at Captain Andersons.

Cheesecake for dessert!

June 19th continued with beautiful weather and more time on the beach.  There was a little more seaweed than the first two days but was still beautiful.

For dinner we ate at The Grand Marlin.  This was the first time eating there and we didn't know that we needed to have reservations.  We ended up sitting at the bar and pushing 2 round table tops together and making it work.  Reid passed out in my arms and I put his hair in a ponytail.

After eating we took the boys to play putt putt for the first time.  That was like herding cats.  I felt like I was constantly yelling at them to slow down.  They wanted to run to the next hole before we the adults had a chance to go or they were loosing their golf ball.

Liam found a frog on one of the greens

We stopped at an ice cream shop on the way back to the condo

June 20th consisted of more beach time!!!!  I mean, when you go to the beach for vacation you want to spend as much time there as you can!

Fruit by the foot!!! (with a little sand)

Playing with their "girlfriends"

Dinner was at Bayou Bills Crab House.

They had live alligators and were brave enough to sit down and hold one.

My parents got the Crab Feast for Two :o

June 21st and we couldn't of asked for better weather.  No rain in the forecast so far and lots of beach time.  This morning the boys went out and found lots of sea creatures that had washed up from the night before which brings me to this sea hare - its a type of sea slug that releases purple ink when it feels its in danger.

This was our view from the condo - we had the perfect spot.  Not far to walk and a more secluded beach.  We will definitely be back!

This was our condo.  We were on the first floor of the second building in the picture.

The Avans' were in PCB for a baseball tourney and were done playing for the day so they came over to play!

Late dinner at Sharky's after beach pictures.

being silly

They had karaoke that night and it was very entertaining while we waited for our dinner!

The morning of June 22nd I got up and took Bella out to the beach to let her play.  It was hot and we didn't stay long but I think she enjoyed it!

The Avans' bunch came back after they lost their game and was out of the tournament.  Since it was our last night there we decided to spend as much time on the beach as we could.  We ordered some pizza and did just that!

This is Guy and Rosaleigh, our friends we met and played with all week long.

Tried to get some sunset pictures but when all you have is a cell phone camera to work with - you don't get the best pictures.

When it got dark we grabbed some flashlights, nets and a bucket and went hunting for crabs.

June 23rd and it's time to go home :( whaaa whaaa!  Liam practically slept underneath Ryan in a king size bed and I feel asleep in the twins room.  Once everyone woke up we packed up the car and said goodbye to all the friends we had made (they were packing up their cars too!)

We stopped for lunch at Five Guys and then made a round through Dairy Queen to get some ice cream.  When the girl handed Ryan his cone she said "I think they got carried away with this one"  Ryan didn't complain!

I always hate when vacations are over.  That means its back to the real world and back to work.  We still have our mission trip to Boston in July and our trip to Disney World the end of September to look forward to!
