December 1st - Elvis returns!!!! Due to Covid Elvis hasn't come to see the boys the last few years but this year he made his comeback!
Elvis came on Dec 1st and brought along some hot cocoa bombs and the family advent cards to do throughout the month.
Everyone getting in the Christmas spirit wearing their Christmas jammies and making hot cocoa.
Elvis moved everyday and occasionally got into some mischief! Elves love syrup. They pour it on everything. Sometimes they just drink it through a straw!
When the boys were gone for a sleepover he hung out with his gnomies.
FINALLY! After a year searching for some decently priced logs Robert and Mariah hooked us up with some off the showroom floor at A1 Chimney Specialists in Winchester! They look so good!
During Covid Elvis worked really hard on perfecting his magic tricks so that he could show them off!
Eggs sprinkled with magic elf dust - CHECK!
They turned into Kinder eggs - SAY WHAT!!!
Elvis hid candy canes throughout the house for the boys to find.
Elvis taking a relaxing bubble bath in the crockpot. Even elves like to relax sometimes!
Dad's farts are too stinky for Elvis!
Liam's Christmas music performance at school
Cougar Christmas Coffee House
Reid, Owen, Kane and Izzy.
I can't wait to recreate this picture years down the road!
Elvis being an Imposter.
Nana came to eat lunch with the boys!
Oh No! Elvis is being held hostage in the fridge....
...by the evil Dr MilkJug!!!!
He is still working on his potty training!
I mean ... how sweet are these two? They don't like to sleep alone. When one is scared they usually sleep in the bed together. I love finding these two like this! Occasionally there are three in there together and that warms my heart even more!
Connection Group Christmas party!
Name a better connection group .... I'll wait ....
Elvis got creative with the marshmallows turning them into Marshmello heads.
Christmas Eve is always jam packed for us. We try our best to make it to see everyone even if it's just for a little bit. While I hate to eat, hang and run, I'm thankful that we live close enough to be able to see everyone for the holidays. Christmas Eve started with the Brasfield side was at Pat and Linda's house this year. We had breakfast/brunch and all the kids were in their traditional Christmas PJ's.
Our next Christmas Eve stop was at Pam & Gene's house around lunchtime.
Then for dinner we were in Tullahoma for the McWhorter side of Christmas. Aunt Maggie for the win with paintable Christmas cookies!
All the kiddos
If you don't have an Uncle Barry then I feel sorry for you!
Nanny Mac and all her great grands! We sure think she is grand too!
This Christmas was our first actual Christmas in the house. We surprised the kids with Christmas out here last year but we weren't actually living here yet. If you dont remember - Check it out here- https://thebarkerblogs.blogspot.com/2022/03/christmas-in-nutcrakcer-i-mean-nutshell.html This year we were able to decorate the house and actually feel the Christmas spirit snuggled on the couch watching Christmas movies by the fireplace all December long!
