Not only did we have the wax museum to work on last month, we also had to come up with a science project for this month. Reid chose to do a homemade lava lamp.
First he placed baking soda at the bottom of a clear jar.
He then poured vegetable oil on top of that.
He mixed vinegar and food coloring together and placed it in a pipette
The drops of colored vinegar would fall slowly through the oil and once it hit the baking soda it would bounce back up to the top and then fall back down again.

For Kane's science project he made Milk Plastic.
He warmed up a cup of milk and added white vinegar.
The acid in the vinegar causes the milk proteins to clump into curds. He then strained out the liquid using cheese cloth.
Then he added food coloring and kneaded the dough
He rolled it out and cut a star using a cookie cutter and let it dry to harden.

We also had Spirit Night at Chick-fil-a this month. A portion of all sales during spirit night went to the school. The cheerleaders brought their school spirit to entice people to come in and eat. The boys even got to dress up in the cougar mascot costume!

Easter morning! We woke up and as always checked to see what the Easter bunny brought.
We take up a whole pew at church!
