Liam's 3rd Birthday

Where does the time go?  My baby is 3! :'(  He wanted a "Struction" birthday party so that is what he got!  Here are some pictures of everything before the party started.

A place to "dump" presents ...

The dining room.  I had hard hats and jackets for the kids to wear.

Liam's cake was chocolate cake with chocolate icing.  Kathy Carney made it and it was amazing.  I ended up eating all the leftovers after the party.  I should feel guilty but I don't ;)

Some of the party guests.

I had coloring pages for the kids to color but everyone liked playing in the playroom best!

GIFTS!!!!

G loving on my little Minions.  She got these onesies for them at Bell Buckle.  They are too cute!

Getting ready to blow out the candles on the cake.

He had to blow out the candles twice because he was impatient and blew them out before everyone had finished singing!  I believe I have a picture of myself doing the same thing when I was around his age!

Patiently waiting for cake.

He had to play in the cake before we ate it.

He loves dessert!

Finally present time!

Aunt Maggie made him this cool crocheted Captain America hat.  He is big into superhero's right now so anything superhero is on the top of his list!

I told Uncle Paul no live animals so he bought him a remote control fish instead :)

He is also into Legos right now too.  He got the Batman Batcave from Uncle Timma.  It's ridiculous when your child can recite the whole Lego Duplo commercial.  He sings the song and then says "Lego Duplo.  So many ways to play.  Each sold separately.  Buy them on the lego app."  Haha funny kid!

Putting his money in his pocket.

The boys playing with his superhero action figures.  They were a big hit!

The three H's.  Established in Kindergarten, 20 something years ago.  I love these girls.  They have been my two best friends my whole life and I couldn't imagine better friends.

His buddy Landon.  They are 3 months apart like his momma and I are.  Hollyn, I hope they stay like this just like we have!

These are his muscles. LOL

Birthday morning I made him birthday cake pancakes.  He got to blow out his candle once again as I sang him happy birthday.  Ryan was at work so we called him and I put him on speaker phone and he sang along too.

Pears, Butternut Squash & Yogurt

Our newest endeavors are pears, butternut squash and yogurt!  They love all three!  Here are some pictures of me making the pears and butternut squash and their reactions to each.

Butternut squash was roasted for about an hour until it was soft and then I scraped it out and threw it in the food processor to make it the consistency I wanted it to be.

My little helper.

We buy organic YoBaby yogurt and it comes in all sorts of flavors.   We tried the pear and peach flavors first.  They love it and it mixes well with their cereal.  That has become their breakfast every morning.  We have bumped them up to 2 feedings a day so they get cereal and yogurt or some type of fruit in the morning and then a veggie in the afternoon.  They get a 5oz bottle with meals and a 7oz bottle in-between.  They still seem hungry all the time but dang thats a lot of food for a baby every 4 hours! 4oz of food and 31oz of milk a day per child!  I can only imagine how its going to be when they are older!

Thanksgiving 2014

Happy Thanksiving from Daddy's little drumstick and Mommy's little turkey!  Our Thanksgiving started on the day before Thanksgiving with friends.  We like to call it Friendsgiving.  I forgot to take pictures so I don't have any to post on here.  It was nice to just sit around and relax and hang with friends which is one thing I am thankful for!  Jonathan, Katy and Alex Wells brought pigs in a blanket and a to die for pumpkin roll (thank I ate for breakfast the next day)!!!!  Kevin and Caylee Gilliam brought corn casserole, Kelcey, Ayden and Ansleigh brought rolls and some sweet tea and Mark, Margaret and Hudson Bell brought the ham and loaded mashed potatoes.  Ryan smoked a turkey and I made dressing, green bean casserole and cranberry jello salad (that I remembered after everyone had finished eating).  The kids played and we laid around like some fat kids!  It was fun for sure!

Liam was being the entertainment.  He was singing "Jesus Loves Me" to them and they were in awe!

Brasfield Thanksgiving was at our house on Thanksgiving day for lunch.  Everyone brought all kinds of yummy stuff.  I am afraid to name it all for I feel like I will forget something and it's just too much stuff to name.  I once again forgot to take pictures.  But I did capture this precious one!  Anne Louise was getting some practice in for when Hardy Lee arrives!  Not too much longer!

McWhorter Thanksgiving was that night at Stella's house.  We had all the good stuff to eat over there too!  Of course I was still so full from lunch but I managed to make some room!  Here are the boys playing together in the floor.

Nanna managed to get both of them to sleep at the same time.

Everyone enjoying each others company at the table… or they are just too full to move.

Nannie getting some Hudson lovin'

Sleeping together. I wish I could sleep like this.  Anywhere.  Anytime.

We all have so much to be thankful for and sometimes we forget the most important part while running around aimlessly getting everything prepared for the big feast, FAMILY.  I am so thankful for each and every family member that I have.  I know I don't tell them how much but if it wasn't for all of their help I would probably be in a mental hospital.  So thank you!
