Late as usual and not much going on with the twins this month. This post is going to be about what all has gone on during their 6th month.
First we went to our friend Jacob Reeces' Halloween party. I work with Beth, his mom. A couple of my coworkers and their kids were there as well. We ate and painted pumpkins and the kids had fun dressing up and playing together.
Liam was too afraid to ride all the fun toys. All he wanted to do was sit on the lawnmower.
We had to leave early to make it to Ansleigh Keasling's 1st Birthday!
Also, this month, we bred our fur child, Bella. Hopefully we will see puppies in a couple of months. Pup was half the size of Bella so if she has any maybe there will be LOTS of puppies!
Liam modeling the hooded bath towels I have been making!
Ryan and I went on a date to the Predators game. One of the guys that has season tickets with my dad knew someone with lower bowl seats that weren't there and offered them to us. In all my years of going to the games I have never sat that close. It was fun and nice to get away for a little while!
Taking selflies with my little mini me!
We bought a subscription to ABCmouse.com and Liam loves playing it! He does so well and has caught on to using the computer pretty quickly. He was so used to playing on an iPad that he was trying to scroll the screen at first.
Before it got too cold we would spend a few minutes outside in the afternoon. It is obvious that they love it outside!
Thought this was funny. We have a king size bed and I usually sleep on the couch because it is just easier to take care of the babies during the night that way without waking these two up. I came in one morning to find this!
While we are outside we like to draw with chalk. Here are mine and Liam's Halloween chalk families :)
Liam of course had to trace his little hand!
Bella had a spa day and got a hair cut. I'm not a big fan of how short her face is but its growing out and growing on me! Plus, it is much easier to take care of!
Awe, my night in shining armor! This boy has a BIG imagination!
We finally got plants for our flower beds!
Not necessarily …. they are both just as expensive!
Ryan decided to use his birthday money and get one of his tattoos covered up. He has talked about getting a Koi for a long time and with lots a research on the best place and person he decided on Black 13 in Nashville. He did a consultation online and we sent in pictures and they decided that Ryan Thomas would be the one to do his tattoo. He texted Ryan the night before to ask him questions and make sure his stencil that he was drawing was exactly what Ryan wanted. We thought that was pretty cool. We decided to make it a day and we drove down early to eat lunch. Black 13 is located in Cummings Station and we found a little deli that had pretty good food! His appointment was at 1pm. Here he is patiently waiting…
Before (ugh I hate his tattoo and glad to see it go!)
He spent a good 1 1/2 hours just drawing it on with markers.
Finally drawn on and ready to start tattooing!
At 7pm that night we were done for this session. He was able to complete all the outlining. Ryan wanted to incorporate the boys some how so their are 3 peonies, one for each child, that will be different shades of blue I think. They Koi will be a red orange color! Im anxious to see the finished product but we have to wait till January for his next session.
We weren't able to get in to see Dr. Eastham for his 6 month checkup because he is always so backed up so we are seeing him in December and I will post their statistics next month. They are holding their heads up so well now and it is hard to keep them in one spot. They roll around everywhere!
Typical picture (Kane is saying … "MOM!!!! He's hitting me!!!")
