Archery

This year Liam made the archery team at CSES.  He had no experience other than playing around a few times with a bow he has at home.  They practiced 3 days a week after school to prepare for their upcoming tournaments.

They would break everyone up into heats - usually 2.  Everyone would get one practice round at 10 meters. They would then have three rounds of shooting at the same target as their opponent.  After all 5 arrows made it into the target, they score each other.  They then move back to 15 meters and shoot another practice and 3 rounds.

 I think he really enjoyed archery this year.  He is always up for trying something new. I'm not sure he will try out again next year but if he does I can't wait to watch him!
