33 Weeks

Wednesday I had a Dr. appointment and got to meet Dr. McGowan.  I really liked her and I like that I am getting to meet all the doctors just in case they are on call the day that I go into labor.  I had my ultrasound first.  This ultrasound was just a BPP (biophysical profile) ultrasound.  They looked to make sure that they were breathing and their little hearts were beating.  They checked to make sure that there was fluid around them and that they were producing urine by looking at their kidneys and bladder.  They have moved since the last time I saw them 2 weeks ago.  They are laying more "hammock" style now. That explains why I have been more uncomfortable the last few days.  And by uncomfortable I mean sleeping in the recliner, not being able to bend over and breathe, occasional sharp pains that make me yelp and sound like I have Tourette's and the frequent tears from exhaustion.  Anyways, back to the appointment.  They didn't do a growth scan this time so I don't have a current weight but they will be doing one in 2 weeks.  I am now on weekly visits until the duration of this pregnancy, which is only 4 MORE WEEKS!!!!

Here are some pictures from Wednesday.

Here is Reid.  He is obviously looking to the right.  His heart beat was 139.

Here is Kane.  Its hard to get a good picture of him because they have to get through Reid to see his face.  He is looking to the left in this picture with his little hand up by his face.  His heart beat was 131.

And here is the belly picture this week ….

I am also officially on maternity leave so I have been getting things together in preparation for their arrival.  The car is packed with their carseats, stroller, boppy and blankets.  I have my camera and video camera charged and ready.  My bags, Liams' bags and the boys' bags are packed.  Ryan is a procrastinator and I have reminded him every day to do it but it has yet to be done, surprise surprise!   I have a list of things that will need to be packed once the time comes that I just can't pack right now, like phone chargers and such.  I have made Liam a goody bag for the hospital as a gift from his new brothers.  Hopefully that will keep him busy while he is there and not so concerned that I am not paying my full attention on him.

Uncle Mark's Birthday was this week too!  He spent his birthday driving/working so when he came home we went over there to eat dinner with him.  Not before we mowed the yard though!

Im not the only one have raging hormones in the house this week.  Bella has started her first heat and it is obvious that she does not feel good.  It doesn't help that I have her in a diaper and onesie that she despises….

We also started to see if Liam is ready for potty training this weekend.  I really don't want to have 3 kids in diapers!  Here lately he is waking up with a dry diaper so I thought that since I am officially on maternity leave this would be a perfect time.  After 2 days we have not peed in the potty once!  We sit there for what seems like hours.  I take him off the potty and not 2 minutes later he is peeing in the floor.  He could care less that he is wet.  This is not a good thing to do while pregnant.  I get frustrated with him and just cry.  As of this morning it has been 2 hours of working on it and we have sat on the potty 3 times, have gone through 3 pairs of underwear (2 of those pairs in a matter of 5 minutes) and have had 5 accidents.  I'm done.  He is just not ready right now.  I am going to do a little more research and read some more and maybe try again next week.  So as of right now he is running around in a diaper :(

Pray for me this week.  Pray that I make it another week since my baby shower is next Saturday.  Pray that they turn in a position that is not only more comfortable but a position that will give me the chance to deliver naturally.  Pray for my patience as it is wearing thin from being so uncomfortable and spending 24/7 with a toddler in his terrible two's.  Just pray for my sanity! LOL
