I don't think that Liam realizes what Ryan does for a living. It's not something that we really talk about at home so when he saw the police car he was excited! He got to sit in the car with Ryan and put the buttons to make the sirens go off and turn the blue lights on. Now when he hears a police car drive by at home he will say "My Daddy!!!"
Saturday was also Margaret's baby shower for Hudson. So after our trip to see Ryan we had to go home and get ready for that. She had a really good turn out and got lots of gifts. I can't wait to meet my first ever nephew!
Later that night we decided to dye eggs. Liam really didn't understand what we were doing and it was hard to keep his little hands out of the dye. It was really close to bedtime before we decided to do it so we didn't get to let them soak a long time. Liam didn't care. After they dried he carried one around that had a crack in it saying "It's hatchin'! It's a baby chick!!"
Easter Sunday my parents picked Liam up at 5am and took him to sunrise service.
From what I hear Liam wasn't so silent during the moment of silence at sunrise. He made sure that everyone saw the rocket ship in the sky!
After Sunrise service Liam took Bailey out to eat at Cracker Barrel …
I set out his Easter basket that morning so that when he came home later that day he would see that the easter bunny had come to see him. We were practical this year. He got a puddle jumper for the pool, some matchbox cars, spoons and forks, a coloring book and some minion band-aids.
