My Great-Aunt Roberta and cousin Terry flew in from California to visit. We planned it a couple months in advance so that we could make the trip to Memphis too!

The whole crew. I have memories of being my kids age and making trips to Memphis to see family. I had so much fun and I'm glad that my kids get to experience that too!
We had plans on going to the Memphis Zoo the day we were leaving. I unfortunately came down with the stomach bug that morning. Needless to say we opted out of the zoo. We did come across a billboard with a drive through TN Safari Park advertisement on it and decided to check it out.
They give you an option to buy buckets of feed to feed the animals. Half of the feed ended up in the van from fighting with the animals. They would grab ahold of the bucket and try to pull it away from you. Once they let it go, food would go flying toward us.
I agree it was fun but I was still miserable and couldn't wait to find a bathroom afterwards!
