An unexpected trip to Valley Home Farms (sometime called Potts Farm) turned out to be a good day! It was a little early into strawberry season but there were still some good berries to pick!
Each kid got their own basket and did a really good job picking some good ripe berries!
We brought the wagon because we knew that they wouldn't carry those baskets full of strawberries back to the car!!!
And we were right!!!!
All that hard work calls for homemade strawberry ice cream and strawberry honey pops!
Our harvest that I turned into Strawberry Freezer Jam. Enough jam to last us all year. The boys gave them as end of the year teacher gifts because our teachers were the JAM this year!!!!
