Twins: 2 Months

I had all intentions of keeping my blog up when the twins got here but the month of June has been crazy busy!!!  We finally got moved into the house and are trying to get everything put into its place.  We have been working on potty training Liam which can be a full time job too!  Oh yea and I have been sewing on the side.  Did I mention I have twins too?  I sometimes feel like superwoman.

Here is everyone before we moved to the new house.  Hanging out in the front yard at my grandparents house like I used to do when I was little.

Their reaction after I tandem nursed them for the first time.  Passed out!  Unfortunately I do not make enough milk now and have to supplement with some formula.  I occasionally nurse one of them when I have time.  It's usually Kane because his latch is better and doesn't hurt me.

Liam in his cute big boy underwear.  It a process but we are working on it.  He is getting better everyday!

Ran out of room in our freezer and had to borrow some room from my parents' freezer.  This was all in the first few weeks.  Now that they eat more I am not getting as much.  I maybe get 6 bags a week.  I only get that because I am supplementing.  I have about 150 bags put back for when I start going back to work.  I'm not going back full time this time around.  I want to be prepared if my milk starts to decrease that I have enough to last as long as I can.  I would rather slowly pay for formula now than have to pay for it all at one time.  Im afraid to know how much that would cost so I am doing everything in my power to keep from losing my milk!  10 more months to go!

Liam's first time swimming this summer. We are doing swimming lessons this year at the Rec center.  We sold our boat so we haven't been in much water this year.

Happy Fourth of July!  We spent July 4th at Pam and Gene's house.  The guys shot fireworks and the boys didn't mind at all!

Meeting our Uncle Barry for the first time.  Holding 3 of his newest great nephews.

We killed our cattle this month.  We had 2 of them split between 4 or 5 families.  Had to buy a new freezer just to be able to bring it home.  We each got 128 pounds of hamburger meat!!! Plus all the steaks, stew meat and roasts.  This should last us for a while!

Reid was being super needy and wouldn't let me get my grandparents house packed for the move.  So ….. I strapped him to me so I could get stuff done!  I don't think he minded one bit!

Finally moved in and this is how we sleep around here.  All my boys in one place.  How did I get so lucky?

I did not expect this to happen so quickly.  One of my goals when we moved in was to get Liam sleeping in his own bed and out of ours.  The first night he slept with us.  Night 2 he slept in his own bed without a fuss.  This was him at nap time the second day we were moved in.

Ryan was off with me the first 8 weeks.  He was going to go back a lot sooner but he unfortunately had to have his gallbladder removed and during this time he refused to shave.  Here is a picture of him the day before I made him go back to work and had to shave it.

July 16th and they are 2 months old and Liam is getting closer and closer to turning 3!  :(  Crazy how fast they grow.

This picture is at an angle and I don't think Kane is THAT much bigger than Reid but I definitely think he is the bigger one of the 2!

Trying to take a selfie with all 3 of my kids.  I never thought I would be saying "my 3 kids" and Ryan and I talk about that a lot.  We never thought we would have 3 but we are so blessed and wouldn't change it for the world.  If life gives you lemons you make lemonade.  If life gives you 3 kids in a matter of 3 years you become supermom!
