I can't believe this summer is over.  It FLEW by!  We had so much fun.  Here is to a new school year full of learning and having fun while doing it.  Liam will be in 1st grade and College Street, Reid and Kane in their last year of preschool at First Steps at FBC.

Ref Barker

Meet the newest member of our family, Ref.  Ref is a Goldendoodle and he is a year old.  He came to us from a busy family that wasn't able to give him the time he deserved.  His spunky personality has fit in very well with our crazy life.

This was Ref before he had his first haircut.  The family that had him before us sent us this picture of him.  He looks like Chewbacca.

Hanging out with his friends in the pool at doggie daycare.

He and Bella had a rough start.  She is used to being the alpha dog and doesn't like sharing attention.  He is so big but doesn't realize it and he tries to get her to play but she doesn't like it.   I think she is warming up to him.  I see future snuggle buddies!

Ryan took Ref and the kids to the park while I was working for some family fun time!

He LOVES the water!

Taking a trip to Old Stone Fort for a little hike.  This time I got to go too!

He has gotten comfortable in my spot on the nights that I work and thinks the gets to sleep there all the time.  On nights I'm home I have to move him over just so I can get in bed.

He also has no sense of personal space.

We have really enjoyed him in this past month of him being around.  The boys have a sense of responsibility to him.  Although at times he may be a nuisance, he also brings a lot of joy and love to our family!
