Liam's Ninja Turtle Bash

For months we have been talking about what kind of birthday party Liam was going to have.  Every time we asked him, his answer was the same, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  He doesn't talk much about them or watch them on TV a lot but that was his answer every time!  For family pictures I usually do a couple pictures of whatever theme we are doing for the party so it was fitting to buy everyone Ninja Turtle shirts and wear masks!

Not everyone was as enthused as I was about it!

I obviously didn't think out his birthday very well because I chose to do it on Black Friday at 4pm.  I ended up changing it to 6pm a couple days before the party so more people could make it.

Kathy Carney has been making our cakes for the last couple of years and she does such a great job.  It is always what I ask for or better!

We had pizza to go with the theme and I made a couple of dips to snack on.

The inside was a surprise for Liam! Each layer was a different turtle color.

Thanksgiving 2015

Thanksgiving was a little more laid back for me this year... because it wasn't at my house! Ha!  We had lunch at my parents house for that side of the family.  We ate tons, watched the kids play, watched football on TV and caught up on everyones lives.  The weather was WONDERFUL and we spent a lot of time sitting outside and throwing the football.

Dinner was spent at Ryan's grandmother's house like always.  We stuffed ourselves once again and enjoyed each others company.  Spent the majority of the time keeping my kids out of things they shouldn't be doing!

This year I am thankful for happy, healthy kids.  Yes they may drive me crazy but I wouldn't have it any other way.  I am thankful to be able to work on my own schedule so that I can spend as much time as I can with them.  I am thankful for the fact that we were able to work our tails off this past year and get rid of ALL of our credit card debt!  I am thankful for family who took care of our kids so that we could work hard and pay all that off.  I am thankful for Ryan and how hard working he is.  He is an amazing father to our kids and amazing husband to me! Lots to be thankful for not just on Thanksgiving but on everyday of the year!
