Pastries with Pumpkins

And the award for Parents of the Year go to ........ NOT US!!!  Ryan picks up Liam from school this past Wednesday to find out that - WE FORGOT THANKSGIVING LUNCH AT SCHOOL!!! Ryan said Liam was devastated and cried about us not being there.  I cannot believe we forgot about it!  Ryan took him and got him some ice cream and I think that smoothed things over.

Thursday was Pastries for Pumpkins at Preschool.  The teachers had yummy breakfast goodies and we worked on a "Thankful Tree" with the boys.

They were not interested in pictures ....

Annual Girlfriends Christmas Ornament Swap Shindig

Every year some of my best buds that I have grown up with and I get together for Christmas.  We usually have food and play dirty santa with ornaments.  This year we went to Board and Brush.

Freshly stained

Hollyn making hers perfect!

Shayna making her board perfect so that she can announce the name of new baby Hodge, Asher.

My masterpiece!

Our schedules are so crazy busy that I don't get to see all these girls like I would like to but when we all get together we seem to pick up where we left off.  I'm so thankful for the friends I have and for the blessings and memories they have given me that I will never forget! (well, with my brain I may forget but hey! thats why I blog now!)

Life Happens...

I hate that I get so behind on my blogging.  Every time I do it I tell myself i'm not going to do it again, and here I am, posting like 9 blogs at one time.  I made separate blogs for all the big things we did and here is my everything in between blog.

Ryan had surgery to remove some melanoma from his stomach.  They were able to remove everything but he has to be more cautious and have regular skin checks every year.

I mean.... he is all boy!

We spent a weekend working with Serve Coffee County.  We picked College Street.  We helped lay down mulch and paint some fun number grids for the kids to use.

This grid became my baby.  It took me about 4 full days to complete it.  I didn't think I was every going to finish it!

Grandparents Day at CSES.  G, Grandy and Nana came to eat breakfast with Liam.

Fun night with Friends for Ryan's Birthday.  We had sushi and stopped by the new ice cream place in Murfreesboro - Top Cold Grill Ice Cream.  It was amazing!

CSES ABC Fashion Show.  Liam was the letter "B"  He had to look through magazines and find things that start with the letter "B" and glue them to his vest.

Getting ready to walk down the runway.  Half way through his walk he "dabbed"  Everyone thought it was hilarious.  If you don't know what "dabbing is" - google it.

Reid and Kane got to go and watch the show too!

Liam's class at the Cougar Cat walk

Liam spent some one on one time with daddy by going to Hooters and a Predators game.

Reid's hair ... every morning.  Kane's doesn't do this.  Just Reid's. lol Its a mess to brush out

We celebrated Crosstfit4031's 1 year anniversary.  They have changed their name to Tri-Star Fitness.  Im super proud of my friends and their gym.  Since the start of the gym last year to now I have lost 19 pounds.  For the one year bash we played Minute to Win it games.

Kane, Luke and Reid - Best buds!

Well I think that has caught everything up since August.  We have such a busy life right now but I wouldn't trade it for the world.  Our house is on the market so big changes are coming our way.  Stay tuned ....

Thrift Store Date Night

So for fun a group of our friends decided it would funny to have a thrift store date night.  For a thrift store date night you have to shop at Goodwill for your significant others outfit.  We then made reservations at The Oak Restaurant for dinner.  There were 3 awards - Best Dressed Male, Best Dressed Female and Best Dressed Couple.

Here we are in our Thrift Store Date Night outfits!
