Thanksgiving 2015

Thanksgiving was a little more laid back for me this year... because it wasn't at my house! Ha!  We had lunch at my parents house for that side of the family.  We ate tons, watched the kids play, watched football on TV and caught up on everyones lives.  The weather was WONDERFUL and we spent a lot of time sitting outside and throwing the football.

Dinner was spent at Ryan's grandmother's house like always.  We stuffed ourselves once again and enjoyed each others company.  Spent the majority of the time keeping my kids out of things they shouldn't be doing!

This year I am thankful for happy, healthy kids.  Yes they may drive me crazy but I wouldn't have it any other way.  I am thankful to be able to work on my own schedule so that I can spend as much time as I can with them.  I am thankful for the fact that we were able to work our tails off this past year and get rid of ALL of our credit card debt!  I am thankful for family who took care of our kids so that we could work hard and pay all that off.  I am thankful for Ryan and how hard working he is.  He is an amazing father to our kids and amazing husband to me! Lots to be thankful for not just on Thanksgiving but on everyday of the year!

Halloween 2015

For the last 3 years I feel like Halloween has been a blur.  I'm rushed, things don't go as planned, too many parties to go to and I feel broke just thinking about buying costumes.  I used to think I was pretty creative but as the years go by so does my creativity.  With costumes that is.  Im still pretty crafty when it comes to Pinterest ideas and copying someone else's ideas to a T.   I made the boys do some artwork for me.  As you can see on the spider one it was against Kane's will :)

I didn't have a Halloween wreath so I found some Halloween burlap at Walmart and made a wreath.  It needs something else but ran out of energy to figure it out. Ha!

Liam's preschool class had a Halloween party.  Everyone got to dress up in their costume while parents and family members had a mini trunk or treat outside.

The 3 Musketeers again ... Miles from Tomorrowland (Liam), Captain America (Landon) and Iron Man (Judson).

Aliens!

Everyone in his class brought an ingredient found in trail mix.  They each got to go around and pick what they wanted in their bag.  Such a cute idea!

They boys loved it too!

So much so that they passed out on the way home!

I emptied all the bags of candy they received from preschool and this is what they got!  Way more candy than they would receive on Halloween night Trick or Treating!

Liam and his Haunted cookie house that we made together!  He had so much fun putting it together and was so proud of it afterwards.

Safe on the Square ...

Due to the rain and multiple parties and events we went to, we decided to stay home and welcome trick or treaters.  I turned on Hotel Transylvania and the front porch lights and waited for them to come.  As you can see the boys loved the movie!

... And watching for trick or treaters!

Two of our favorite spooks came by to see us before they went to a party. The boys did NOT care for Grandy and his Big Bad Wolf costume!!!

Liam's First Preschool Field Trip

Liam has really enjoyed preschool at First Steps Christian Preschool at First Baptist.  He goes every Tuesday and Thursday.  He has made new friends and grown closer to an old friend, Landon.  For their fall field trip they went to Grandaddy's Farm. We had a hay ride, slid down slides, jumped on the bouncy thing, watched pig races and ate lunch.  They had a fun time and the parents enjoyed watching our kids play together.

Landon, Liam and Judson - The 3 Musketeers!

Hold on Liam!

Sliding down the tunnel

While Liam played with his friends, I took the boys and played in the little kiddie area.  The cars were their favorite!  They did so good and I was thankful I had extra help from Hollyn to help me keep up with them!

Hay Ride!

These are 2 of the classes at FSCP - Liam is 3rd on the bottom on the right side...

... sitting beside these 2 who didn't want their picture taken. Haha! So much for the 3 Musketeers!
Bless them! It was a long morning and they were tired!

Pony Rides in Creekside Manor!

Since Hudson was born (a year and a half ago lol) Mark and Maggie haven't been able to ride their horses like they used to.  They decided that they were going to take them out and ride them for a little while and asked if we wanted to go.  I figured we had plenty of space in the neighborhood and MAYBE the neighbors won't mind a few horses roaming around for a couple of hours! The boys loved it! It was their first time ever being around a horse much less on one and they did great.  Liam liked being the leader and telling the horses where to go, just like he does with his little brothers.

Kane's turn riding.

Reid - because he is always in red ;)

Cowboy Liam!

Containing them so the adults can ride around.
